Quality Management System
• We have maintained 4 level documentation system.
• We have more than 65 SOP’s which are strictly adhered to.

Internal Quality Control
• Bio-rad controls are used for carrying out internal quality control of biochemical test every day. LJ Graphs are studied and action is taken on IQC as per SOP.
• Third Party Calibrators (Randox) are used for biochemical test.
• Similarly, IQC for Haematological Counter is carried out using Bio-Rad controls and LJ graphs are checked and action is      taken on IQC as per SOP.
      The marketing agency for the instruments namely Lilac Medicare (P) Ltd. and Analytical Automation Ltd., does calibration as per their regular schedule.

Proficiency Testing
         We are the participants to the External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) conducted by

• Bio-Rad, USA, for Biochemical Tests.
• Christian Medical College, Vellore, for Biochemical Tests.
• AIIMS, New Delhi for Heamatology.
• Amla Institue, Trichur for Microbiology and Serology
• Whichever tests are not covered under these programmes for those tests, Inter laboratory comparison with other NABL accredited laboratories is conducted.
• We have entered into MOU with other NABL accredited laboratory for inter laboratory participation.
